About The Club
Penn-Jersey Panthers basketball club was formed in March of 1991 and at the time, fielded six very successful girls teams. The club was formed to fill a need in the South Jersey-Southeastern Pennsylvania area for talented girls and boys who want to play at the most competitive levels of basketball. Today the club, which is affiliated with the Amateur Athletic Union (AAU), has teams for girls and boys ages 10-17.

We seek talented players who want to play competitive basketball in high school and college. We work intensely at developing individual skills and team play. We believe our teams should be able to compete on a level with other teams vying for AAU regional and National Titles.

Where We Play
We play a number of two-day tournaments throughout season as well as a select number of one-day tournaments. We do our best to keep all of our tournaments within a two-hour drive from the participating teams locations.

  • Philadelphia, PA
  • Rowan University
  • Stockton University
  • Wildwood, NJ

Tournament Formats
Below is a description of our average tournament setup:
  • All Play is Championship Format
  • 3 Game Guarantee (for 2 day events)
  • 15” Trophies to all Winning Players and Team Trophy to the Coach.
  • 2 halves, 16 minutes each half (all ages)
  • We use only Certified Referees
  • All Games Start and End on Time
  • Good Competition
  • Outstanding Facilities (College and H.S. Venues)
  • All play is AAU sanctioned
  • Game Schedules Posted Website by Tuesday 11AM on Week of Tournament.
  • Friendly and Professional Atmosphere that will Guarantee, Teams and Parents have a Great Weekend.
  • 93% of All Tournaments Sell-Out Every Year 
  • Our daily game schedule for Saturday averages such that 90% of our teams will play two games Saturday and at least one on Sunday.
